# Diagnostic-first food allergy care in Keller

The Food Allergy Center is part of Cure Allergy Clinic, an allergy and immunology practice serving Texas families. Our Keller center is opening Fall 2026 and is designed around one principle: treatment decisions should follow a complete, clinically interpreted diagnosis.

## What we do

We evaluate suspected and confirmed food allergies with a detailed clinical history and the testing that is appropriate for each patient. Available diagnostic tools may include component-resolved IgE blood testing, skin prick testing, atopy patch testing, and medically supervised oral food challenges. A positive test by itself does not automatically determine a treatment plan; results are interpreted alongside symptoms, reaction history, age, and real-world risk.

After that evaluation, the care team discusses the options that fit the patient's needs. Those options may include avoidance and emergency planning, Xolair, Food SLIT, or the Tolerance Induction Program® (TIP). Eligibility, timing, expected outcomes, and safety considerations are determined during a clinical evaluation rather than from website information alone.

## Our clinical model

Cure Allergy Clinic is a Food Allergy Institute affiliate and the only FAI-authorized provider of the Tolerance Induction Program® in Texas. TIP is a structured, multi-year program that uses diagnostic data, individualized dosing, ongoing immune monitoring, and coordinated follow-up to work toward long-term tolerance and remission. It is one possible pathway, not a universal recommendation for every person with a food allergy.

Care is coordinated through one Keller-based team so families have a consistent place for evaluation, testing, treatment planning, and follow-up. The clinical team includes Dr. M. Waseem Imam, Dr. Baraa Osman, and Kirsten Hoey, PNP. Their combined work spans allergy and immunology, food allergy evaluation, and pediatric allergy care.
